Rosemarie P. Evans of Venetia,Pennsylvania formally of Glendale, New York passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the age of 82. Beloved daughter of the late Max and Nora(Sheehan)Gabler, loving mother of Nora (Bruce)Cotugno of Venetia Pennsylvania, Lydia (Armand)Baklajian of Great Neck New York,cherished grandmother of Stephanie and Michael Cotugno, Emily Rose and Armand Jr. Baklajian.
Rosemarie was preceded in death by her former husband Thomas Evans and her brothers Philip (Patricia) Gabler, Vincent (Margaret )Gabler, Terrence (Margaret)Gabler, Martin (Katie )Gabler and Leo all of New York.
Rosemarie worked for the New York City health and Hospital Corporation for over 20 years until her retirement. She was active in her local union and served as a representative.
Rosemaries joy in life was raising her two daughters on her own. She proudly guided them into their professions and saw them happily married. She devoted herself to being a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren Rosemarie enjoyed life and always gave of herself. As her heart weakened , her spirit never did. She was loved by all and will be forever missed by her friends and family.
