I worked with Mary at British Airways from the late 1980's thru the 1990's

Our Dearest Mary,
I will never understand why you were taken away from us way too soon, but I do know that although you are gone from this life, you will always remain alive in our hearts. My heart goes out for the Santucci family, Mary's husband & children.
I was Nancy's, her eldest sister's high school buddy at Mary Louis TMLA also where Mary & youngest sister, Lisa attended. I have fond memories of spending time & having dinner at their parent's home & her Mom's 'gravy' (my 1st time learning this meant tomato sauce!) Mary was a sweet girl, as I remember. I'm sure that I speak for the entire Manhasset community in expressing our condolences
to the Sanseverino family on their loss. Mary's warmth and engaging personality was felt by all who knew her. Her family is a tribute to her ethics and integrity and compassion that she exhibited every day of her life here on earth. Heaven will be that much richer having Mary to walk with the Lord and her Guardian Angel. We, here in Manhasset will be that much poorer having sent her to live in perpetual happiness. We consider ourselves so fortunate to have her for the time that we did ; albeit a relatively short time.
May the strength that she showed in fighting this horrible disease be transferred to her family in this time of mourning.

When I met Mary in 1985 and sat next to her at British Airways, all the gals were very aware of how extraordinarily attractive she was. It's one thing to have outer beauty, but her inner beauty was phenomenal. Always smiling, always kind words for everyone. All the fellows had crushes on her. She was strong and intelligent and I remember very specifically, her beautiful eyes. She left a great gap at British Airways when she left to pursue another career. Words cannot express the sadness I feel hearing of the loss of such a beautiful soul Mary. I remember Mary as a fun, loving, beautiful, compassionate & caring individual. Mary had style and charm and everybody wanted to be in her presence. Although our friendship was confined to our formative teenage years, she will always live in my heart.
