Jack touched more lives and shaped or influenced more careers than anyone I have known. His influence on my career and life began in San Francisco in 1967, then Los Angeles and New York, at AG Becker and then Prudential Securities. I know that lives and careers of many people were shaped, directly and indirectly, by Jack in many places, over the years. Jack's integrity and insight were great and far reaching, with a special blend of humor, and a lesson for many. I'll never forget Jack introducing my family to a summer rental at the beach, just down the road from him, on our arrival in NY; never forget the boatride and good times. Perhaps most important of all, Jack cared about people, how they were doing, their families, their lives, always asking after them. Jack was very special. Doug Robbins
