Obituary of Richard F Hansen

Richard Hansen, 76, of Hicksville, NY passed away on Saturday Sept. 13, 2014 with family by his side after a long battle with caner. Richard was born on February 18, 1938 in Queens, NY. He was the son of the late Harold Hansen and Doris Golden He was employed with Conrail Hudson Line as a rail foreman and Laidlaw Bus Company as a school bus driver for Locust Valley School District. During his retirement years he drove a taxi cab for Yellow Cab Corp. in Hicksville, NY. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved old cars, long drives in the country listening to music, particularly his favorite for 45 years, Rod Stewart. Surviving are his three children: Patrick and wife Karen (Hansen) of Windham, NY Kim and husband Robert (DePasquale) of Fishkill, NY Christine and her husband Paul (Slovak) of Manhasset NY His six grandchildren, Ricky and Jennifer Hansen, Kristen and Danielle DePaquale, Thomas and Andres Slovak. Also survived by his brother Jamie and wife Susan (Mills), his sister Barbara and Dorothy Mills and his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers to the web page for Richard F.
