I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a man that I consider to be a true gentleman, and a wonderful human being. I had the opportunity to work on a number of trials in medical malpractice cases with Guido. His intellect and trial ability was unmatched, and his professionalism and graciousness made him stand out as a true gentleman and an example of what every lawyer aspires to be. I tried some very long cases with him over the past few years and I really felt I got to know him and respected him immensely. Every lawyer, no matter how many trials you have done, could learn from watching him.
I want his children and wife to know that every chance he had he spoke of you, showed pictures on his phone and proudly "bragged" about your many accomplishments. He truly loved his wife and children, more than anyone I have ever met. He always said his wife kept him in line and was the real hero in his house. He had an iconic presence in the Nassau County Courthouse. He simply was the best in and out of the courtroom. I am so sorry for your loss.
