I have just become aware of john's untimely demise - I worked with John in the Cayman
Islands, more than just an acquaintance he was such great guy.....Ricardo too who welcomed us into their house, the millennium party was awesome - rip John one of the good guys in this painful world

We are very saddened to learn of John's passing....We just found out this very evening from Ricardo.
My husband Dave and I have been staying at the Rocking Horse Bed and Breakfast each April for the past 6 years. One of the reasons we returned each year is because of John and Ricardo. They were such gracious hosts and from the very first stay made us feel like family and not just guests. We are returning next month to the Rocking Horse and will greatly miss John's smile, his laugh, his charm, his wonderful suggestions for dinner/shopping/events in the area and his warm, caring ways.
Our lives have been enriched and we are very blessed to have known such a wonderful man. Heaven has definitely gained another angel!

Being new to Louisville ourselves, it was our good fortune to meet both John and Ricardo. Over the years our friendship has blossomed from monthly bed and breakfast meetings to helping each other in times of need over the years and enjoying this past Christmas dinner together. We will so miss that great smile, lovely voice and rich, wicked laugh.
It is with great sadness that John has left us, but we look forward to seeing him again when our own time has come to pass. Our prayers are with you.
