I will always remember what a great friend Ellen was from the moment we met during our sophomore year at Reilly. Ellen was always thoughtful, kind and considerate; I will never forget her hearty laugh and her adorable smile. We went to dances all over Queens, bought up a storm on Main Street and misbehaved superbly together during our years at Reilly. My Mom loved her so much and is probably catching up with her in the here after right now. I remember when she first started dating Eddie and all those double dates we enjoyed in his big white Cadillac. Eddie, you are in my thoughts and I hold all of our memories so dear to this day. I am so sorry you lost your best friend and biggest fan. There should be a picture of the two of you in the dictionary next to the definition of soul mates. My thoughts are with you and your beautiful family.

Jimmy Maureen and Liz I was heartbroken to hear the news about Ellen her spirit her love for life, She had it all. But after the long courageous battle she needed to rest. She is not gone she will always be in our hearts. I am so sorry I cannot make it down to the services but know I am with you in spirit and her beautiful spirit will live on in all of you. Jimmy, Maureen and Liz I am totally heartbroken to hear about Ellen. Always the life of the party ( or any one I was at) She fought a great fight, was as tough as she was beautiful inside and out. Heaven has gained an angel while we mourn her loss, but she is with the whole gang and in very good hands. Please know I would have loved to be there to hug and kiss you all, but alas I am not able to make it down in time.
