Our greatest condolences to Orest and Isabella. I hope the passage of time eases your incredible loss. I just found out this saddening news. Barb was always a wonderful, positive presence. We were on that fateful trip to Mardi Gras with Barb when she met Orest, whom she fell madly in love with. May she rest in peace.

I was a roommate with Barb twice in our early twenties. I will never forget her! when I had last seen her she came in for her class reunion. She had recently had hip surgery.she was indeed very upbeat and positive.I have had both hips replaced and was never as positive and upbeat as she was even as she was battling cancer! She was truly a remarkable woman!

Barbara Jeanne...cousin from Missouri. I remember when we were young, sleep overs at your great house! We ate sweet tarts and razzles and drank funny face. The last time I saw you was when Grandma Louise passed away, you came to California for the funeral. You looked so much like your mom! I know you will be greatly missed by all that know and love you. But, I know too that you are with your mom and dad and have no more pain. I'll see you in heaven!

What a beautiful soul Barbara Jeanne was. She looked so much like her mother, my wonderful Aunt Barbara! I'm the oldest of her Aunt Janet and Uncle Gus's kids and a contemporary of her brothers Michael (who is six weeks younger than I) and Greg. By the time Barbara Jeanne was born, we had moved to California, so I didn't see her much growing up, but she is part of our family and will be missed. I am so sorry that she will not be able to see her daughter grow into adulthood and that both Orest and Isabella have to deal with this loss. I know that the Lord will comfort them at this time of sadness and that the love of friends and family will surround them with His peace.

Barbara was the sweetest person I ever met. She never thought twice about helping out another person and was always happy with doing it. I honestly thought of Barbara as one of my fill in moms (along with the other neighborhood moms). We all had our own family in Port Washington. I will always carry the memory of Barb close to my heart and I know shes always going to be watching over me.
