Obituary of Charles E. Klein

Charles E. Klein of Glen Cove, NY, formerly of Manorhaven and Manhasset died August 18, 2015 at home. He was 101. His wife of 75 years, Lillian Piper Klein, survives him. The son of the late Rose K. Klein and Charles J. Klein, he was born May 14, 1914 in Brooklyn, NY. “Charlie” was a sales executive and design specialist in the display and corrugated business. In later years he enjoyed plaque carving of landscape scenes. Survivors include (his wife of 75 years, Lillian Piper Klein;) his daughters Patricia Klein Kelly (James) and Marijane Klein Morici (Anthony); and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Kelly Waylan (Todd), Sean M. Kelly (Ashley), and Laura Morici Brown (Thomas); and two nieces and a nephew... A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, August 21, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Manhasset.
