From Michael Bruce's brother Cheryl, and Steven who live in Florida.
What can you say about Patricia, a person who had a heart of gold a mom of three
beautiful children, that were brought up to be the kind of young adults that would make
any parents proud. Patti and Bruce were a team both working hard to achieve
the goals and seeing the results of their rewards that, Matt, Ashley, and Justin
gave to their parents. Patti and Bruce came down to Florida as often as they could, as time permitted, my son Steven who just turned 10 years old could not get enough of Patti, as she was a very devoted aunt to Steven, Patti could not get enough of Steven
as she gave him alot of attention, And Steven could not wait until she came to Florida, to spend time with her. About 3 years ago Steven had a birthday party, Patti came down for his party with Ashley, as luck would have it rained, and there was a bounce house in the back yard, because of the rain part of the bounce house fell to one side there was some kids in there, Patti ran out of the house went into the bounce house to get the kids out, there was not a thought about herself, the kids were the only thing that mattered. After all said and done the party was not a wash out, Patti came up with games for the kids, a happy and memorable ending.
Patti will be Missed she was not satisfied doing things half way she had to always finish the Job no matter what she did, she touched everybody, she gave of herself
with out question or pause, it is our turn to live by the standards and morals she believed in. Love You Patricia your strength and courage will live on in all of us. Rest in Piece.

When I think about Patrica (Patty) I hold a memory of one of the strongest, most determined, funny, beautiful and caring mothers there could ever be.
Bruce & Patricia made such a fun, family-orientated couple and I will forever remember the wonderful time we had in raising their first-born son, Matthew, together in Williston Park, NY. As their Au-Pair, I was welcomed in to the family and during this time I learnt so much from Patricia. I respected the level of energy, drive and perseverance she showed to make her family work and it is testament to her efforts when you see all three of her beautiful children today. My heart goes out to the whole family as they learn to continue without Patricia there with them in person. May her spirit and energy live on forever whilst her soul rests in peace. God bless you Patricia. xxx

May this candle represent how you were always saw light even in the darkest of situations. Your warmth, love, and kindness will never be matched; but your message to just be genuine, help others, and live everyday to its fullest, will be carried out through so many people moving forward. No words can describe the heartache right now, but with that there is some peace that you are now living comfortably in heaven. I will always cherish the memories we have, specifically when we would gang up on Matt. You always knew how to be a great mother but you also always knew how to be a great friend. I was grateful to have you as both. Keep shining up there I know your looking down on us. P.S. I will make sure chloechito behaves and i'm going to vote for myself to be the new interior designer for the basement moving forward. Love ya tons!

Dear Bruce, Matthew, Ashley, and Justin,
We are deeply saddened by your loss.
Yesterday's service was lovely, as was the spot Patti picked out for herself.
As we were driving through the winding road, full of lush greenery and flowers, we noticed how many other people/cars were sharing the moment with us--a testament to the numbers of people Patti touched.
Micki's parents send their condolences, as well. While only having met Patti one time, they too were touched by her energy, beauty, and zest for life.
Patti's smile was infectious and always lit up the room. She was beautiful both inside and out, and your words yesterday, were equally so.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Love,
Micki, Barry, Ethan, and Jake

I remember Kathie telling me, "When you meet my sister, you'll be amazed. You'd never know that she is fighting cancer." And that turned out to be the absolute truth. Whenever I would see Patricia, my thoughts were always, "She looks amazing! Look at her big smile! She has a great laugh, and look how stylish she is! I wish I had her energy." I am glad to have been able to know Patricia, even if only in brief moments of waving across the street or talking about chocolate chip cookies. I know the family will miss her terribly, but her light shines on through you. May precious memories of her bring comfort and peace. We're praying for you as you grieve.

Aunt Patty (although not my real aunt - but my best friend Jeannette's Aunt) was a household name for me. I loved Aunt Patty through Jeannette and always will. She was an amazing source of strength to Jeannette - always there for her with the best advice, unconditional love, and a beautiful source of happiness and sunshine. In this life, where so much is unfair, Aunt Patty took the brunt of that unfairness and she made the absolute best of the hand she was dealt. A true inspiration of the beauty that one can make out of a life that hands you a bum deal. She is and will always continue to be the example of how to make the best of what life offers. I will look for the beauty in every moment and I will think of Aunt Patty always when I do. She is greatly loved and always will be.

May the angels and saints, and those who you loved in this life before they passed, be waiting to greet you in Heaven, welcoming you back to the womb of God, where you were first imagined, formed and gifted for the life you shared with so many while you were with us.
What an honor it was to walk this journey with you, Patti.

Patti was a deeply spiritual woman who led by example. She lived life in abundance, soaking in every minute, every word, every person, every prayer and every opportunity to use the gifts she'd been given. And she was gorgeous ! Through cancer, through treatment, through it all, her inner beauty couldn't help but shine through her suffering.
When I was diagnosed, she sent me a text that I still keep on my phone to remind me,
"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections. Make the most of the moment you're in right now."
Thank you, Patti, for being a blessing on us all.
