Vince was my buddy! He was a student of mine while he was at W&J and then he and I taught together, made a documentary together, and had a great time together.
I haven't seen Vince for 35 years or more but we reconnected in the last year or so when I had some cardiac issues and he was there to advise me like a true friend.
It was my sincere hope that he would show up in Greensburg some day and we could continue our friendship - but that is not to be.
Although we were separated by hundreds of miles and many years he was, is, and always will be - My Buddy Vince!
I would be at the funeral if it was humanly possible, but I am in Tennessee and can't leave until tomorrow.
