Obituary of Margaret E. Casolaro
Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Margaret Casolaro personified the golden age of elegance and style that defined her. A child of the early 20th century who reveled in her family's creative legacy, "Maggie's" star eclipsed their world of opera, theatre, and motion pictures. From featured performer in her father's Italian theatre company to script girl in a small New York film studio, this stunning beauty brushed off fans mistaking her for the likes of Bette Davis and Angela Lansbury in favor of what she considered a more important role: domestic goddess to the family multitudes. A loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and great-grandmother, Maggie was a phenomenal cook with a penchant for lightly starched organdy and an occasional Dewars-- light on the ice.
She was one-of-a-kind. A true original. Ciao bella!
Dear friends and family,
I want to help make sure that no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
This is why I'm raising funds in honor of St. Jude kids.
Will you help me support St. Jude by donating today?
Because the majority of St. Jude funding comes from individual contributors, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most — saving kids regardless of their financial situation.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer, and neither will I—but I need your help.
Please visit my gift fund page to donate.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Concetta
