Obituary of Elizabeth M. Butler

Elizabeth M. Butler,102 years old passed away on January 24, 2016. Elizabeth was born on December 27, 1913 to John and Bessie Drennan. After attending Cathedral High School and Grace Institute Elizabeth married Albert McGrath and raised three daughters. Widowed, she married Joseph Butler in 1967. She died at Sands Point Nursing Home in Port Washington. Elizabeth is survived by daughters, Elizabeth(Frank) Frisbie, Margaret(Thomas) Flynn and Sister Mary Lou McGrath,SC. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Wake services will be held at Fairchild Funeral Chapel, 1570 Northern Blvd., Manhasset on Friday January 29, 2016 from 3-5pm, and 7-9pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Manhasset on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10am with interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla,NY In lieu of flowers donations made to: Sisters of Charity Development Fund 6301 Riverdale Avenue Bronx, New York 10471 or http://www.scny.org/ would be greatly appreciated.
