Obituary of Rene Theodore Jagenburg

René Theodore Jagenburg of Locust Valley and Glen Cove New York, passed away peacefully from natural causes on February 18, 2016. He was 96. Born in New York City, on November 16, 1919 to Eugene Robert Jagenburg and Ilia Roan Jagenburg, brother of Eugene. Beloved husband of Ellen of 65 years, three children Ilia McCormick (Richard), Gregory (Patricia) and Vanessa and five Grandchildren. René graduated Franklin and Marshall College, and was a member of Chi Phi Fraternity. He served in the Army Air Corps in WWII. He was an executive with ER Jagenburg and a member of Nassau country club for the last 45 years. René was the center of the Jagenburg family and his commitment to his wife, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews will be greatly missed.
