Obituary of John C. Calluzzo

CALLUZZO- John C. on March 9th in his 99 year. He was the owner of Arcara Foods, an Italian Deli, for over 30 years in Ozone Park Queens. He was devoted to and predeceased by his loving wife Frances (nee Arcara) caring for her devotedly while she endured a long illness before her death. He and Frances raised a son and a daughter who were blessed to have such parents: Vincent and the late Donna. John was father-in-law of Debra, a loving grandfather to Jon and his wife Ilia, Paul and his wife Maya, Nicholas and great grandfather to Valentina and Natalia. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, March 13th from 3:00 to 5:00PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Fairchild’s Sons Funeral Home on Northern Boulevard in Manhasset (516) 627- 2000 (www.fairchildsons.com.) Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday March 14th 10 AM at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church at 1300 Northern Boulevard Manhasset with interment immediately following at Saint Charles Cemetery.
