Obituary of Leonard J. Calandra

Calandra , Leonard J. a resident of Mineola since 1962 died on March 11, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Lenny served in the 86th Airborne Division of the US Army and also as a military police court liaison in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was a salesman for Prudential Insurance for 42 years and a perennial round table award recipient. In addition to his wife Eleanor of 61 years, he is survived by his daughters Lucille Calandra Fletcher, Lenore Calandra Pott and his seven grandchildren: Natalie, Alex,Austen,Emily, Andrew,Steve and Lizzy and his sons-in-law whom he considered sons, Steve Fletcher and Ken Pott. He was the cornerstone of his family and will be greatly missed. Family will receive visitors at 10am followed by a mass at 10:30am Friday March 18, 2016 at St Mary's Church 110 Bryant Ave. Roslyn Harbor, NY 11576
