Obituary of Saverio Angiuli

Saverio Angiuli, 84, of Sands Point New York passed away March 19th, 2016. Born in Bari, Italy on June 2, 1931 he was the beloved husband of 62 years to Louise, loving father of Gary (Annette), and beloved grandfather of Sam ( Lindsay), Natalie and Vanessa. Mr. Angiuli emigrated to America at eight years old and worked all of his life . His got his first job at 12 years old at the local haberdashery store in Harlem New York where the family resided. . He was honorably discharged as a corporal from the army in 1960 where during his service he witnessed a test atomic blast in the desert of Las Vegas. After his service he got a job selling cars and ultimately lived the American Dream after acquiring several automobile dealerships working with his wife Louise at his side every day. Throughout his life they traveled together extensively seeing the world. In his spare time, Mr. Angiuli enjoyed cooking, planting and decorating for Christmas. His son Gary said that nothing mattered to him more than his family and friends and the void of his enormous presence will never be possible to fill.
