Obituary of Mary B. Daly

Mary B. Daly of Manhasset, age 79, passed away on September 25 after a long battle with cancer. Mary was born and raised in the Bronx and was a proud graduate of St. Mary's Nursing School in Brooklyn. She went on to enjoy a career as an operating room nurse for many years. She moved to Manhasset in 1978 from City Island, New York. Mary's greatest love was walking the beaches of Montauk and of course, her family, her husband of 57 years, Joe, her three children, Christopher, Mary Beth, Jennifer and their spouses. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Katie, Kelly, Timmy, Joey, Clare and Elizabeth. She was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed.
