Uncle Ron, not really my uncle but what I used to call him, was such an amazing person. I have so many memories of Ron on the paddle or tennis courts and in the clubhouse at PWYC! He was as fiery as can be in competition, but such a sweet guy off the court. God bless Mrs. Ronzoni and God Speed Ron!

Ron was my first mixed doubles partners in the PWYC tennis championship matches! We were victorious. He was a friend and an inspiration both in tennis and platform tennis. The club is not the same without him. He will be missed!

Ron and I grew up together on Rugby Road in Manhasset along with his siblings Ramona (Mona), Ralph and little Raymond. News of Ron's passing is sad and shocking. Many memories of our young lives together are indelible and our childhood friendship had a very positive influence on my life. Ron, you will be deeply missed. Jan and family,
I am very sad to hear this news about Ron. As a young man new to Manhasset Ron was like a sports mentor to me. He introduced me to tennis, platform tennis, basketball and touch football. He helped this guy from Queens feel comfortable in Manhasset.
I have great memories of the camaraderie we shared. He took me to the US Open, Jets games and I was touched by his generosity.
He was a kind and giving man and an example for us all to follow.

So sorry to hear about Ron's passing. I have many fond memories of Manhasset and Ron and you. We spent many hours on the tennis courts , the football field and the softball field ( the Wall bangers won a lot of games with Ron's help ). I still have a picture with all the Wall bangers on my wall from one of the years we won the Championship. Those were good times.
My sincere condolences and prayers to you and your family. He will be missed and fondly remembered.

I was so saddened to learn of Ron's passing. For almost 60 years I had the honor to know him as a fellow student, fraternity brother, teammate and tennis partner but most importantly as a friend. I am so glad that we were able to meet recently and relive old memories as well as our mutual aches and pains. He was truly a kind and gentle man.
