Obituary of Joseph Cataldo

JOSEPH CATALDO passed away peacefully at his home on Nov. 10, 2016. Joe was the loving husband of his departed wife Ann for over 64 years, devoted father to daughters Valerie(Ken) and Karen(Gerald), and cherished “Poppi” to Lauren, Jennifer and Daniel. Joe grew up in a close Italian family in Corona. Joe was a proud veteran having served honorably in the army during WWII, being in the Pacific theatre at the war’s end. After he graduated from St. John’s with an accounting degree, he went on to a successful business career. Joe’s family, friends, golf buddies and colleagues all admired and respected his strong values, quick wit, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his family, church, and country. Wherever he went and whoever he met, he would be sure to leave behind a smile and a positive view of life.
