Obituary of Anthony Blaise Loddo

Anthony Blaise Loddo, 82, of Manhasset, New York passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, New York. Born in the Bronx in 1934, Tony met his loving wife of 59 years, Gloria, while stationed at Orlando Air Force Base in 1955. Together, Tony and Gloria had 4 beautiful children: Christina (Bruce), Mark (JoAnn), Lisa, who welcomed Dad to heaven with her (Albert), and Lynda (Jason). He is also survived by four beautiful grandchildren: Allisa, Thomas, Juliana and Annalisa. Tony was a loving, generous and wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather better known as “Nanu” to his grandkids; his family was truly everything to him. He worked for many years at Citibank and when he retired he volunteered at St. Francis Hospital for the past 21 years. Visitation will be at Fairchild and Son Funeral Home in Manhasset on Wednesday 12/21 and Thursday 12/22/2016 from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm with a blessing at the last viewing on Thursday evening. To honor Anthony’s wishes, the immediate family will have a private gathering on Friday 12/23/2016 to celebrate his life   In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Francis Hospital Foundation/Volunteers or National Ovarian Cancer Society to help those, like dad and Lisa, thrive and survive in their honor.
