My family was friends of the Scheers my entire life. Think of Joyce often and visited her last in Point Lookout several years ago. I babysat for Jean & Joyce children in RVC as babies. Will never forget Joyce's beautiful smile. Hope the family will keep the PL home. Spent many happy times there when young. May she RIP THE BILL WELLS FAMILY NÉE KOHLMEIER

Aunt Joyce, You were a very special godmother to me and have honestly made my life better. I had never met a more gracious, generous and selfless person who did anything and everything for anybody with a need. You have always been a saint to me and someone who had my back. You honestly cared for the Dodd famiy as if we were your own and honored my mother, who was your good friend, by helping her kids after she and my father passed away. I will never forget your wonderful smile, gracious hospitality(along with the delicious food that you lovingly prepared), coming to NJ for my husband's funeral services, offering me life advice and companionship. and calling to make sure I was OK. You were always thinking of us and we will cherish all of those years we had with you. You raised a wonderful family and they are all a reflection of you and Uncle Don. I know how proud you were of your five kids and eleven grandchildren and they were blessed to have had you in their life. Rest in peace.
