Obituary of Marie Piliero Valvano

Marie Piliero Valvano (March 25, 1929 – March 14, 2017) Marie Antoinette Piliero Valvano passed peacefully on March 14. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Vivian Valvano Lynch, son-in-law, Gerald J. Lynch, and granddaughter, Heather Victoria Lynch. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry Michael Valvano (1924-1981) and parents, Frank Piliero (1904-1989) and Isabella “Sarah” Romano Piliero (1905-1980). Marie was a beautiful woman of great dignity, grace, poise, and intelligence. She cherished her family and was a wife, mother, and grandmother who gave of herself and her gifts with the utmost love and generosity; her family was honored to return that love in full measure. Marie also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she held dear and who had the privilege of being part of her life. She will be sorely missed. Her memory will always be a blessing to all of us.
