Mary was a beautiful and genuine person. I met her at Crocheron Park with our dogs. She was the mayor over at the park. She knew everyone and was very kind and generous to so many. She was an advocate and lover of animals. She used to take care of my dog, Cosmo, and I trusted her implicitly. She even let him sleep next to her on her couch because she knew he needed the connection and comfort. She took great care of many dogs at the park. I loved seeing her and Boo and our group of friends after work at the park. Boo and Cosmo and the other dogs were good buddies. We shared wonderful times in the park and it will never be the same without her. I love Mary and will miss her humor, her brutal honesty and her endless compassion for those in need both human and animal. Rest In Peace friend.❤️

I was sooo sorry to hear the news about Mary. I met her working at the USPS and always enjoyed seeing her at meetings and just hanging out after work with our peers. She was truly one of a kind. It wasn't that long ago that I saw her here at the credit union and she was as bubbly as ever, with a big smile. You will be missed Mary and your family has my deepest sympathy as your passing will surely leave a big hole in their hearts.

Mary and I became friends at the age of nine. Actually our families merged when the Mulligan's and Jacobini-Eberwein clans became neighbors. We ARE famiIy. We walked to school together, we piled into that Chevy Nova to get to Jones Beach and for numerous summers rode the Staten Island Ferry with our Mom's and siblings. I loved helping her spend her allowance buying 45's at Wainrite's. I will forever live the songs, Spiders & Snakes and Little WIllie Won't Go Home. She introduced me to Champagne at a club called Chevy's on 11th Avenue and 28th Street. Mary rocked out on the dance floor at Channel 80 in Island Park. Her trademark move was: ARM UP, SLIGHT headbob, and her raising thigh...just slightly. Loved dancing with her! Never forget that our Mary was always dressed to kill. I loved when I ran into her at a club. Mary hosted amazing barbecues, loved her nieces and nephews... I loved sharing our BEST AUNT, Best UNCLE stories. She was generous and gave amazing gifts. Her silver elephants are part of my Christmas tradition. I will always think about her whenever I purchase a bottle of champagne. "LIVE A Little"...is what she told me. Mary lived life to its fullest. She loved Jorge upon meeting him. Her kindness to my MOM and her gift baskets lifted my Mom's spirits in her final year. I will treasure our MARY. I know she leaves a huge hole in our hearts....but like champagne...she will forever be bubbling in our hearts and in our stories. Here's is MY "toast" to my dear friend: "Mary...thank you for that hearty laugh, thank you for your sarcasm and wit. Thank you for being my friend and I am so glad we got to "LIVE a little"...together!" Love you...Dennis
