Obituary of Evelyn Yetski

Evelyn Yetski, 86, of Great Neck, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones on February 28th. She was born November 13, 1931 in Brooklyn. Her life was spent enjoying the garden and nature. She was a friend and mother to many and her love for animals was unmatched. As an avid photographer, she enjoyed all of nature's beauty. Her unwavering faith and prayers carried her throughout her life. Praying the divine mercies was a daily ritual, she was a true prayer warrior. Pre-deceased by by her husband John A. and son John C. Survived by loving sister Ingrid Messina. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alert Fire Company, 555 Middle Neck Rd, Great Neck, NY 11023.

Funeral mass will be held on 3/6/18 at St. Alosius Church in great Neck at 9:45am. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
