My daughter Stephanie just told me this horrific news, we are both beyond comprehension saddened and horrified!!
My three daughters also went to the same elementary and dance school as Deanna and because I was always around I took note of her presence. She was truly a beautiful young lady. She exuded such beauty and confidence and was loved by many!
Of course there are no words I can express that could ever capture the pain and suffering you’re feeling, just know that we love you and you’re in our prayers, please pray for comfort and strength to endure each day as it comes. Know that this is temporary and you will see your daughter again.
Revelations 21:4 “and He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will outcry nor mourning nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away.” This is a promise from God in Revelations that He will put an end to death and all of our loved ones will be resurrected back to this earth to life everlasting with their loved ones. This is only temporary.
I love you all....praying for you constantly since I found out.

We are so sorry to hear of the tragic loss of your beautiful Deanna.
We feel the pain both the Mondello families, and the Massina families are going through, as in my life , our family suffered much tragedy also.
You have to believe Deanna will always be with you, in your hearts, your minds, your souls, because she is. And in time , you will begin to feel comfort knowing she is safe in heaven in the arms of our Lord, and she will dance with angels..
There can be a million words said , or none at all. Deanna was loved by many, and those memories , and thoughts will give you strength, I promise you.all.

Our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Deanna. She came into our life this past Fall as a result of dance. My daughter has the honor of performing Deanna’s choreography and will dance in her memory. Deanna’s beauty, grace and spirit will live on through her choreography and through the dancers who had the privilege of working with her and knowing her. A beautiful life taken too soon.

My condolences to the family of Deanna Mondello. I just found out now through social media about this horrible news. I went to St. Mary’s high school with her and she was my best friend in homeroom. Even through we lost touch after high school because I left after freshman year, I’d have to say Deanna’s smile always brightened my day. She was such a sweet girl and I hope you Rest In Peace angel. I recently looked through the St. Mary’s yearbok and laughed at all the fun memories we all had together. One of the silliest memories was how we would say the blazers in school smelled like wet dog in the rain and we couldn’t wait to take them off! You always made me laugh. I wish we could have kept in touch but I appreciate the times we spent and I’m greatful for the moments we shared. I will pray for you and your family. God Bless

I went to college with Deanna and even though I haven't seen her since, she couldn't have left a bigger impression on me. I remember the first night of staying in the dorms there was an 80s party and I met her in the elevator. She said she was from New York. She was the spunkiest coolest chick I'd ever met. It was only over the next 3 years that I would come to learn she was also kind, warm, hilarious, and insanely talented - someone I would watch in awe every time she moved. I wish I could've spent more time with her. I wish we all could've. I'm so very heartbroken for you and for this world, that it won't get to see all she would've done.
