Mr. Gross will always hold a special place in my heart, along with his beloved Marie and beautiful children. I treasure the special memories of many Thanksgivings spent with the Gross family growing up. The love in that house was always so deep and strong and real. It was a love that fulfilled and sustained me. I will always remember his devotion to his wife, family, friends and above all... his Savior. I am a better person for knowing Mr. Donald Gross. His spirit will remain alive in me and so many whose lives he touched!

I met Don on the way to Holy Cross College in 1943 when we both were inducted into the V12 Navy program and had a great relationship during our time there. I always admired Don and was sorry that we were never near enough to continue our friendship over the years. We had many mutual friends in our youth since we were both from Long Island.
My sincere condolences to his family. Frank

Any Father who raises children who are giving, loving, accountable and God fearing regardless of what society and others say is a man who moved mountains, provided security, safety and encouragement to all he met. Maria I see all of that in you and your family. The pain you all feel is a tremendous out pouring of love as you celebrate his life. I wish I could have met him.
Adriana and I are there praying alongside you. Each tear represents each life lesson, each hug, each laugh, each word of advise he ever gave. His message lives on in you and your family, so he will always be with you. God Bless.

When I heard your dad/grandad passed, a little part of my heart broke. I truly loved him and he made me feel so loved every time we saw each other. He had a wonderful life with his wonderful family and so many others who loved him. He was such a gentle, warm, loving man and will be so missed.
I'm so sorry for your loss, but I know for sure that God welcomed him with open arms and he is dancing through the clouds with Marie.
Sending love your way,
Laurie
