Obituary of Angelo C. Fulgieri
Please share a memory of Angelo to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Angelo C. Fulgieri (“Poppy”) passed away peacefully at his home in Salem, NH on May 11, 2018. He was born January 25, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY to Lorenzo and Carmela Fulgieri. He married his wife Loretta on July 11, 1964 in Brooklyn, NY. Angelo and Loretta moved to Syracuse, NY in January 1978 and raised their four children together before her unfortunate death in 1990. Angelo worked as an Electrical Engineer for New York Telephone for his entire professional career before accepting early retirement at age 52. He lived his life filled with the joy of being surrounded by family, as he was able to watch his grandchildren grow. It was the simple pleasures of just being around to observe, participate and share in the love and laughter that brought him abundant happiness. He will also be remembered for bringing family and friends together through his fine cooking skills, most notably, filling the neighborhood air on Saturdays when he prepared his homemade pizzas, still the best to this day!! We mourn his untimely death, but we celebrate and cherish the memories and life lessons he taught us along the way.
Angelo is survived by his three children, Matthew, Debbie and Lawrence, (his son Phillip predeceased him) as well as his five grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Evangelo, Eliana and Emerson. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother to Marie Dunn and Lawrence Fulgieri (predeceased), and will be missed by all including his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
