I met Bob Trunz when I joined Sands Point Golf Club. I shared many enjoyable hours and fun times with him there-on and off the course. His wit, ability, friendliness and decency were all part of his core. His values and approach to life are things I strive to emulate daily. I send my deepest condolences to Gail and the extended family. I am so appreciative for all he added to the robustness of my life experience.

One of my treasured memories of Bobby is from many years ago in their kitchen. Bobby and I were having steak tartare and Joe wanted his well done. Bobby turned and stood at attention to the sizzling beef and saluted! Of course that brought peals of laughter from us all! Bobby was a big man with a very soft loving heart. We shall miss this man but know where he is and look forward to seeing him again. For you Gail, from us-just many prayers and soft hugs to get through your days.
