Obituary of Jane Olsen Overend

Jane Olsen Overend, 86, of Manhasset, NY on September 30th, 2018. Our beloved mother and grandmother died peacefully in her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Overend. Cherished sister of Marian Mulligan. Loving mother of John (Barrie) Overend, Bryn (John) Vissicchio, James (Carol) Overend, Erin (Tripp) Frank, Mark (Jenn) Overend, and her precious dog “Baby.” Proud grandmother to her thirteen grandchildren, Jack, Lea, Nathan, Cole, Jane, Drew, Addie, Samantha, Grace, Ana, Sabrina, Kate, and Liv. We will remember the twinkle in her eyes when there was a joke to be told or a bit of mischief to be had. Jane loved her family, friends, her dog, her religion, reading, bridge, antiques, gardening, old movies, talking politics and so much more. She will be missed by so many, but her legacy will live on.
