Obituary of Dorothy Lorraine Caruso

Lorraine D. Caruso, age 83 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. She was born to the late Joseph Arena and Hazel Newman on October 4, 1935. 

Lorraine’s pride, joy, and love of her life was her late husband Vincent Caruso. She raised her family in Mineola, NY. She loved bowling, crosshatching, traveling, taking care of others, and being surrounded by her family. In 1998, Lorraine moved to Boynton Beach, Florida where she cultivated friendships and enjoyed playing cards, social nights, and going out to dinner with special friends.

Lorraine enjoyed visits from her family from the Northeast, including her son Louis Caruso and his partner Lou-Ann Rossetti of Mineola, NY, her granddaughter Jacquelyn Paccione and her husband Michael and their daughters Luciana and Leona of Holbrook, NY, and her son Vincent Caruso, Jr. and his wife Amy of Southwick, Massachusetts. 

She leaves a daughter Donna King and her family from, New York, sisters Grace Custance of Georgia, Darlene Mercurio of New York and brother Charles Giarraputo (Charlie Boy) of Florida.

She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and many loving and dedicated friends in New York and Florida.
