Obituary of Mary Margaret Corcoran

Mary Margaret Corcoran, 68, of Manhasset, New York passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 26th after losing her battle with early on set Alzheimer’s. She was surrounded by her husband, and three daughters.  
 
Mary was the daughter to the late Carl and Margaret Loskofsky of New Hyde Park, New York. She was a loving sister to Billy (deceased), Carl (deceased) and Anne Valentino.  
 
Mary is survived by her loving husband James, who cared diligently for her with love and devotion. Mary was the loving and proud mother to Kelly DeBusschere, Kristin Trunz, and Colleen FitzSimons. Raising her daughters was her crowning achievement. She was also a devoted grandmother to ten wonderful grandchildren.  
 
Her most precious memories were those spent with her family. She also was very committed to her community where she was an active volunteer at Our Lady of Grace Montessori School, St. Mary’s Parish and Manhasset Middle School and High School. She was a long time member at Plandome Country Club where she made wonderful friends and special memories. 

Mary was a true angel in every sense of the word. Her gentle soul, generous heart, abundant love and life of total self-giving will live on through her three daughters and ten grandchildren.  

Friends and family members may attend a mass in celebration of her life on January 3, 2019, 10:00am at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 1300 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030, with burial to immediately follow at Nassau Knolls Cemetery. Visiting Hours, January 2,, 2019 3pm-8pm at the Fairchild Funeral Chapel, 1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY.
