George was my fathers childhood and lifelong friend
He was the nicest fellow and I heard of their shenanigans all thru my childhood and life
When my fathers short term memory started to fail he always wanted to call George to chat and help him remember things that he could not recall right then
They were the perfect friends so completely bonded and they always had so much fun together when my dad Passed George and Audrey invited me to join them in Orlando and they were so sweet and kind and George told me stories about my dad I had never heard and helped me grieve
May He revel in the glory of heaven
Thank you George for holding my father in your heart for his whole life you were his best friend

Mr. Becker was a huge part of my memories from all the years at PWYC. My grandfather and Mr. Becker were very close, and he was like another grandfather to me and my siblings. What a huge personality he had and it was always kept under control by Mrs. Becker! Will never forget his laughter and his charm as he made his was from one table to the next, shaking hands and kissing babies at Port Yacht!

I have the fondest memories of George Becker. Our careers with the Sandy Hook Pilots' Association overlapped for thirty years. He was an excellent pilot and always a gentleman. A better ship mate could not be found. Seeing him at the last retired pilots dinner was a treat. May he rest in peace.

I have so many fond memories of Uncle Geb on the Cape. My vacation down there each summer in August back in the day always seemed to coincide with your family’s vacation there. Both Uncle Geb & Aunt Nancy are missed. My sympathies to “Sue Sue” & Ruthie. May all of your great memories get you through this difficult time.

Just Like Balloons bring smiles and excitement to children, my Uncle GEB always brought a smile and entertainment where ever he went. So thankful for all the summers on Cape Cod and the family gatherings in Dorset, VT. Uncle Gebbie, you are missed, But when I think of you, YOU bring a Smile to my face. You are now at peace with your loved ones in Heaven.
Love, Jannie

George and I served together for many years as Sandy Hook Pilots working in
Long Island Sound. I had the pleasure of taking him on the Danmark after he
retired through the Sound and I think he enjoyed it immensely. George was
one of the finest men I have never met.
My wife, Barbara and I enjoyed our time with George and Nancy
George loved the "pilots" and was an asset to our business.
With Sincere Condolences to the Becker family.

I met George many years ago through my Beloved mother Mary at the Congregational Church of Manhasset where we were members. My mother was a Registered Nurse and with George’s Beloved wife Nancy would do blood pressures at the Manhasset Library together. I remember every time I would see George he would tell whoever was talking to us this memory. It made me feel very good.
George was a very special and wonderful man and I am so grateful that he was a good friend for so many years. I will miss him terribly. My Thoughts and Prayers are with his family.

As the former Secretary for the Sandy Hook Pilots it was my great honor to have worked with Captain Becker and to have called him a good friend. As I will be unable to attend his services I wanted to extend my deepest condolences to the entire Becker family. Captain Becker always brought a smile to my face and I will always remember him wearing his lobster slacks to the outings. He was a one of a kind and he will be missed by all who had the pleasure to work with him.
