John was one of the kindest people I knew. He knew how to make people laugh and he always would make a bad situation funny. I’ve been on long train rides and sat in traffic going to the city, I never ran out of conversation with John.
I will miss his friendship more than you will ever know. He died on my birthday because he wanted me to always remember him!
I hope God is having a good time with John and watching over all of us.

Words can not explain how sad I feel about my friend Johns passing. John was a true friend, he sponsored me in the K of C, we always had breakfast together in the mornings. I will always keep him in my prayers, and I will miss my friend.

Dear Gina,
John and I had the honor of being J's Godparents. I have been lucky enough to know John through Carolyn and Freddy, so through the years I would see him. He would always make me smile. It is with deep sadness I am writing this. This is such a untimely tragedy.
My condolences to you and your sons, who he was so proud of.

I have a hard time believing what has happened. Valerie called me less than two weeks ago to tell me about John’s condition. I’ve spoken to Richard several times and I’m glad he was able to see John and relive some happy memories, especially of when we were boys together.
Growing up John was more like a brother to me than a cousin. We were in the same classroom from second through eighth grade. We went to the same high school and were in many of the same classes. Since high school we drifted apart, but through the years I spoke with John at least once or twice a year usually on our birthdays. After his visit Richard told me it was very bad. I guess the only positive was that he did not have to suffer for too long and now he is at peace.
I’m certain this is very hard on your family it is a loss that will last. Our thoughts are with you and try to take some solace in seeing John in your children and grandchildren.

Dear Gina and Family,
We are shocked and very saddened at John's passing. John was like the every ready bunny. He was always upbeat ,except when he 3 putted or sliced a drive into the next fairway. Will always miss him
