Obituary of Richard Mallory

Richard (Dick) Mallory, a 45 year resident of Manhasset peacefully entered eternal life on June 26th, just shy of his 92nd birthday. Dick loved the outdoors, especially while playing tennis, golf, skiing or surfing. He was an avid gardener and loved to share the fruits of his harvest with neighbor's and friends. Dick was proud to have served in the US Navy during WW11. He was also proud to have achieved the honor of Eagle Scout. Loving father of Susan (Jack) Thompson and cherished grandfather of Sarah, J.B. and Cameron. He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Genevieve (Gene) as well his son David. He is also survived by his sister Joan Dwyer, niece Kathleen (Bob) Zajaczkowski, nephew Bill (Patti) Dwyer and many grand nieces and nephews. The Mallory/Thompson family is very grateful for all the neighbor's and friend's who looked after Dad the last several years. A celebration of a life well lived will begin at Fairchild and Sons at 10:00 on Monday, July 8th, 2019.
