Obituary of Nicos E. Stylianou

Nicos Eliseos Stylianou, 89, of Port Washington, NY passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on December 18, 2019. Nicos is survived by his wife Andria of 63 years and his son Paul. Nicos was a loving father, husband, and friend to everyone. After graduating from New York University, he served his country proudly as a Lieutenant in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He then worked in accounting for over 35 years until his retirement. He was an active member of his church and community until his health forced him to a quieter life. He enjoyed traveling, eating out and movies. Nicos was always there to help relatives and friends in whatever way he could that people needed him for. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00pm at Fairchild Sons Funeral Home on Thursday December 19, 2019. Funeral services will be at Archangel Michael’s Church from 11:30am until 12:30pm on Friday December 20, 2019. Nicos will be laid to rest at Nassau Knolls Cemetery in Port Washington, NY. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to the Archangel Michael G.O. Church 100 Fairway Drive Port Washington, NY.
