My deepest sympathy Theresa and family on Michael's passing. I got to know the Zenobios through St. Peter of Alcantara -at Mass and at the many functions Michael and Theresa participated in. Michael always had a warm smile for me when we met at Mass. A wonderful man will be missed.

Michael was a chef, food preparer, dining room server, and friend of many in our Nourish Babylon community meal ministry. We knew Michael as an exceedingly generous and giving person -- generous with his time, his talent, his resources, his humor, and his deeds. We remember him for all the love he poured into his meals and his relationships. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Sincere condolences to Theresa and family on the loss of a remarkably generous and optimistic man. We share this memory from the Blizzard of January 1996: We met Michael at Landmark Education weekend-long Advanced Course. Mayor Rudy Guiliani declared a New York City state of emergency on Saturday afternoon, due to the mountains of snow burying our streets. All commercial buildings were ordered evacuated by 8 pm. ..... Michael had a 4-wheel drive Jeep parked at a nearby garage. He called home to his darling wife, asking her to make-up the guest quarters. After driving three other classmates to the NYC Subway station, Michael drove Patti Wilson and I home to your lovely home in Sands Point. We entered the snow-laden circular driveway, welcomed by a towering Christmas tree, branches weighted by globs of pure-white snow with multi-colored Christmas lights peeking through! Inside: A blazing yule log. Cognac. Vat of homemade split pea with ham soup. Billiards. Conversation. One of the most loving families we had ever met. Thank-you Theresa and Michael for opening your home and hearts to us! You are the Pride of Long Island. Deepest sympathy, Pamela J. Sandmeier of Sound Beach, LI, NY - along with my husband, Kevin M. Brennan - and Patti Wilson, formerly of Ronkonkoma, LI, NY (now in PA)
