Fernanda was a dear friend to my late mother, Grazia Maglione and I will always remember the love and respect my mom had for her. Fernanda was a beautiful, sophisticated and warm woman. Fern and Grazia shared many similarities, among them, their adoration for their 3 daughters and putting family above all.
I hope you find comfort in knowing that your mom touched many lives including those of my sisters Giovanna, Gabriella and I. I am thinking of you all - at times with tears of sadness, and at other times I am filled with joy remembering the kindness your family has extended to ours over the years.
With love,
Bernadette (Maglione) Meyer

Our loving thoughts and heartfelt prayers go to the Iannacci family at the passing of Fern. She was such a gracious loving woman who was clearly the heart of your beautiful family. We have such fond memories of her warm smile and twinkling eyes when she was in her favorite place - that is surrounded by her family. We are so terribly saddened that we are unable to be with you physically during this very difficult time. Please know that we are present for you all - just remotely for now. With love, Michael, Clarissa, Paige, Jeff and Grant

How to begin to eulogize our beloved Fernanda? Una donna, moglie, mamma, Nonna, zia, cugina, amica, meravigliosa! Cousin to our dearly departed father Ettore; Zia Fernanda was to us growing up, a constant presence and a loving, devoted member of our extended family. It truly hasn't sunk in yet that she is no longer physically amongst us. She was such a force of strength, intelligence, and know how, she did it all...and she did it well. Presently there is so much sadness and painful loss going on in our world, to lose Fernanda is another devastating blow to the heart. It has taken me some time to find words meaningful enough to properly convey to her grieving loved ones just how much she meant to us over the years. On behalf of all the Campioni women, my mother Bruna, my sisters Katia, Maria, myself, and our extended families; we deeply share in your mourning and extend our most heartfelt condolences to sweet Angelo; her adoring husband, and her three loving daughters Lisa, Angela, and Linda, who were beyond blessed to be raised by such an incredible mother and who lead by her example to become the phenomenal women they are today. To each of your families, son in laws, and grandchildren included; we want to share how truly sorry we are for your loss and wish we could be there to pay our respects as well as be a close source of comfort for you in your time of mourning; sadly we find ourselves in worrisome times where physical distancing is vital for our health and wellbeing and so with very heavy hearts we grieve with you from a distance. Please know how much we loved Fernanda, even as our lives took distant turns after our father's passing; the love, affection, and deep admiration for Fernanda and each of you always remained. She was a huge part of our childhood growing up and a constant presence in our lives, in good and bad, but especially in times of need, Fernanda and family were always there for us. By our side during our father's illness and eventual passing, we appreciated everything she did to help us. We adored the fun times when our families would gather, some of our fondest memories were at Fernanda's beautiful home in Douglaston, enjoying great company, wonderful conversation, and many delicious, exquisite dinner parties that Fernanda proudly hosted, mastering the role of gracious hostess. Everything she did was executed with grace, class, elegance and generosity. Family and friends were warmly and affectionately received, we always felt so welcome in her lovely home. When our father passed away many years ago, Fernanda and family were there for us in countless ways and for that we will always be forever grateful. "La famiglia e' tutto" was not just an expression for Fernanda, it was simply her way of life. Dearest Fernanda, you left an indelible mark on the hearts of all those blessed to know and love you. May you rest in eternal light and peace surrounded by the souls of loved ones passed, that undoubtedly greeted you with open, loving arms. You will always be remembered with so much love. To the Iannacci, Manasia, Baydar & Robin families, we are holding you in our hearts and send you our deepest sympathies. We hope to be able to hug you all again soon! Prayers of strength and courage for everyone, especially our dear Angelo, during this painful time of grief. May you and your family always feel Fernanda's presence in your lives, and her love in your hearts. Eternal be her memory. Riposi in pace bella Fernanda, ci mancherai sempre, vi vogliamo bene. Abbraccia papa' per noi!
Con tanto amore e affetto ~ Bruna, Katia, Maria, Stefania and family.

My Aunt Fernanda was a very loving, caring, compassionate and generous person. I will never forget the good times we had when she and Uncle Angelo took me in while interning with Anthony at Mount Sinai for the summer, or all the times that I came into the city to spend the weekend and Holidays with the family while at Vassar. She will truly be missed, but not forgotten.
Love,
Eric Thorn & Family

Fern had a unique light that lives within all of us who have known her. In addition to her elegance, grace and love of family, she had that unique quality of enveloping you, and making you feel you were the most important person she knew. When she saw you, even after months or years of seeing each other, she would sparkle with deep memory. Her love enveloped every one she touched. She penetrated one’s heart with light, love and scaring. All of us who knew her, have been nourished by her caring, the light in her eyes, the lily of her endearing voice and she will live forever in our hearts. Thank you, Fern. Nancy Ruddy

I will always remember her beautiful, loving greeting..."Hello mi amore". Always, always addressed us this way and regardless of the hectic nature of our Sunday dinner gatherings whenever I called "Aunt Fern" she would answer "Yes, mi amore". Although she called all of us that, she had a way of making me feel like I was the only 'amore' in her life. In those moments, her love was so abundant and heartfelt. I will hold onto her sweet loving ways forever and ever. I will miss her warmth and deep love, but I will hold her spirit in my heart forever.
My heart is with all of you during this time - and always.
Love,
Stephanie
