Dear John and Family,
Frank Christopher and I have so many wonderful memories of Margaret. When Chris came back from the funeral we spent some time talking about Margaret and your family. We loved her laugh and the way she talked about all her sisters brothers nieces nephews etc and her mom and dad. We loved the way she talked about the family's Christmas Eve parties and all the fun the Crowley/Farrell families had together. Margaret would have everyone laughing and smiling and enjoying her stories! When Johns Fordham friends and family gathered at your house we always had a great time - lots of kids and parents enjoying each other. I remember when the boys lived in the Bronx (I believe it was there Sophomore year house) the moms beat the boys in beer pong and Margaret was cheering on the moms.
We are so sorry for your loss and we send our deepest condolences

From the moment we met Margaret when the boys were freshman at Fordham, she made us feel like family. She was so kind, generous, funny and welcoming. From offering to have the boys anytime, to hosting our crew and families (she always said bring everyone)for parents weekend and graduation, to always remembering exactly where we left off and caring, we were endeared by her warmth, huge heart and love for everyone. She would smile that special smile at John when he held court at the steakhouse during family weekend. She was so proud of her extraordinary family in size and relationship. She was an expert to our group in all kinds of advice being one of 15. I remember when we had college boy mom worries, she would always say the boys were going to be just fine. And, always, always explained just how with wit, humor and her great laugh. Her pride when she talked about John, Aiden and Julia was just immeasurable and she just lit up with love. I remember how excited she was for John to experience the same trip to London that she had as a college student. I remember when Margaret and John dropped Aiden off at USD and we had a chance to host them in CA, she was so happy for Aiden and of course joked about how she was going to mother from across the country. Always warm, full of love and funny! Words can’t express how profoundly sorry we are for your devastating loss. I wish we were there to be helpful and give you a big hug. Please know you are in our constant prayers, we love you guys and that Margaret made an impact on so many lives in so many ways with her bright light. Love, The Domier Family

Margaret was always such a joy to be with and lit up the room when she walked in with the smile on her face and infectious laugh. I am so sorry of Margaret's passing. She was always so caring and supportive of our son Chris and so welcoming to Nancy and me. It feels like yesterday when she was shooing me away from the kitchen sink at the Fordham boys' brunch with a demeanor that made me feel welcomed and at home. Margaret was a shining light and will be missed by everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting her.
