Vincent was my first employer. I started with him as a busboy and Steer barn. Vincent taught me how to be a great employer myself. I learned from him that you trust people and treat them like adults. I built a successful law firm using lessons I learned from Vincent. I still think of you fondly I was sorry to hear of his passing. His restaurants are still among my favorite. He was a truly great man who had a big influence on my life. My belated condolences to his family

Today I thought about Vincent, I googled his name and was sorry to see he’d passed away last year. I met Vincent in my home town of Las Vegas, while working in the race & sports book, Vincent would rush to the window at the last minute for his horse wager. Lol.. He never would come to my window, one day I believe I was his last resort and he gave me a chance! He noticed my speed and accuracy to get his bet before the gate closed for the horse race. After that day, he would always come to me. I had a student loan that was hurting me financially. Something told to me to ask if Vincent knew of any part time work availability in Zefferinos. He told me to place an application in. With no avail, I was hired as a hostess. Vincent was extremely kind to me, I admired his spirit for always on the go, his energy/speed of rushing to the window to get his horse rages in! Lol And his smile and generosity. I thank you Vincent for helping me, it was a pleasure meeting you in this Lifetime. My condolences to your family, God bless you all…..Rest peacefully Vincent, love Shannon..

Shannon - thank you so much for sharing this memory of my Grandfather. You didn't miss a beat with your description of him. He always preached kindness, generosity, hard-work and never placing a bet unless you're absolutely sure its a winner...probably why he was always last to the window! Aside from his Family, Business and passion for sports there was nothing that he loved more than helping those in need. It brings great joy to myself and my family that he was able to do the same for you!

I love you Uncle Vincent!! Your love of family was always so contagious - we will all miss your large presence in our lives! You were always so kind and loving to all.
Over the years people would always say to me your Uncle Vincent is amazing - what a great man! You always took care of all of those around you. It was so incredible to see how loyal your friends and employees were to you. They knew that you cared for them. You are someone who made a difference in so many lives. I was thinking that your passing will be felt be so many people.
I treasure the love that you and my mom had for each other. No matter what challenges life may have brought you both - your love for each other always stayed strong. I hope that my children will have the same love for each other.
Even though you are no longer here - you will never be forgotten and when I close may eyes I will remember you with your beautiful smile!! XOXO
