We are extremely saddened to hear about Rino’s passing. We are thankful and grateful for all he has done for our family. We are so saddened by the loss of our beloved cousin and friend Rino. Our sincerest condolences to Alma, John and Elsa, Debbie and John and the Grandchildren. Our sincerest condolences and deepest sympathy to Alma, John & Elsa, Debbie & John, and all of our cousins, for the loss of your beloved Rino.
We will remember Rino as the always smiling, always complementing, happy, genuine, good person he was. He was so kind, generous, funny, charming, helpful... with a great big heart and a beautiful soul!
I have so many special, fun memories. Some of my favorite childhood memories are weekends at Center Drive, celebrating Easter Sunday at Knollwood Drive with the whole family; at Zio Nini and Zia Maria’s Southold house - I was little, but I sure remember those hearty laughs among Alma, Rino, my parents, and rest of the family in that kitchen!! Then, of course, the countless weekends at Alma & Rino’s Southold house - Rino teaching me to play spades, over and over again (a refresher course almost every summer); so many great stories shared, many jokes, lots of laughter, so many great times we cherish!
Rino will never be forgotten, forever fondly remembered! Joško, Marko, Matea & I will miss him so much, his big beautiful smile, his laugh, his love, and his great warm hugs!

I looked up to Bruno, laughed a lot with Bruno and shaped my approach to real estate so so much after what I ve seen in him.... to deal with kindness, always seeing the person, the story, always willing to let things go and always willing to see the funny side of things.
The only thing I m still working on is to let go of my cellphone..... :)
I will miss him so so much and my whole family sends heartfelt condolences as even though they didn t meet him, they heard me talk about him often.

Rino, you were one of my dearest friends and I will treasure our time together always. Over the years, I have learned from you, laughed with you and competed with you. Thank you.
I will never forget meeting you and Alma for the first time in Ponticello. Lidia and I could have never imagined what a beautiful friendship and memories would blossom from there. I will especially cherish our annual Christmas parties together with our families. You introduced me to the game of golf and we had so many competitive and fun times together on the course. We never lost when we were together. I will miss you deeply.
You have helped me and my family so much. We will never have the words to express how grateful we are to you and Alma for all that you have done for me and my family. We are proud of you for all you accomplished. As you would always say, “Not too bad for a boy from Šumber.” I also want to say thank you for making me feel special and important. I will never forget that.

38 Years ago I met this amazing man and his beautiful wife Alma. I was blessed to have worked with them for over 25 years
but more than that we were friends. Our children spent many summers in Southold where we enjoyed endless laughs and fun,
nights playing spades (Bruno was a tough partner but a great one) and amazing food of course! There was our trip over to the Grand Canyon from Vegas one Easter break, a lifetime memory and again so much fun.
Bruno was my mentor in business and a friend in life. There is no more generous man than Bruno. Generous with not only his
money but his heart, his kindness and his time to care for others. He is a good man to the CORE!!
I will forever be thankful to him for teaching me the business and trusting me to run Fontana Realty and others for 16 years.
Working with Bruno & Alma were the best years of my life. In closing I must say the day he looked forward to so much was our annual Christmas dinner at Ponticello for the office. He wanted to show his gratitude to all of us and it was a chance to just have fun and bring our families along to see each other. I will always see the smile he had when he hosted us. God bless all his family and especially Alma. I will miss him tremendously.....BLESSED TO HAVE BEEN PART OF HIS LIFE.

Rino was a giant, a gracious man who lived his life to the fullest, a very successful man who helped many, many people including me and my family. I loved his wisdom and stories of the real estate world, loved his company, and my only regret is that we didn't meet earlier in life. Bruno was simply the BEST. He and Alma are the American Dream personified. The number of people they helped and were friends to is unbelievable. He was my Mentor, my Friend and my inspiration. They are family to my family and will always be. The world will have a little less fun and charity without him. Bruno did not have a bad bone in his body (he also had no filter) that is what made this SPECIAL MAN SPECIAL. God Bless you Boss you will be MISSED. I hope they play spades in heaven.
