I have had the pleasure of knowing Ellen Hunt for more than 6 years, through her cousin the late Ellen Tomlinson. The 2 were more sisters than cousins. When hanging out with the 2 of them I knew we would be eating, drinking, sharing stories, and laughing until we cried. She was a great lady full of warmth, witn and intelligence. I as well as everyone else will miss her greatly. I will always remember her as Aunt Ellen. I can imagine her being reunited with her cousin. They are drinking tea, laughing, and planning a big party. My condolences to all.

We were fortunate to be neighbors with Ellen for the past nine years and she was the first to welcome us to the neighborhood. We remember her kindness and how much we enjoyed the chats and laughs over the years. She was elegant and always had a sparkle in her eye. Ellen will be missed. Our condolences to Anne, J.G. and her entire family.

Anne & JG, there are no words that can be expressed on the passing of Aunt Ellen. She was simply one of a kind, always classy and she made you feel special and loved. Whether it was singing around the piano, going out shopping or out for a bite to eat, watching horse racing or just chatting over the phone or over a cup of tea and a piece of cake or cookies – the stories, the hugs, the laughter and the “What’s shaken' Dolly” or “Hello Lovey” will always and forever be a special moment and memory that will never be forgotten.
Aunt Ellen, you will be missed beyond measure and loved from the moon and back a million times over by all of us.
Rest in peace and all our love always.

As a friend of Betty and Liz Gallo I was lucky enough to spend several Xmas nights at Ellen’s home listening to her play the piano and her brothers singing Irish ballads. She welcomed me into her home like family. The memories to be cherished! Ellen may you Rest In Peace and thank you for your kindness all those years ago!

What a huge and heartbreaking loss to the entire family! Aunt Ellen was the absolute BEST and we will tell stories about her forever. I will never forget singing by her piano and all the times she called me “lovey”. She will be SO missed. Sending love and hugs to everyone, especially Anne. Xoxoxoxoxoxoxo ... Elizabeth & John Shea
