Mrs. DeGrotta, Sal and Anthony, I am very sorry and saddened to hear of your loss. Mr. DeGrotta was many things to many people. Remember that he lives on in you. I will never forget a time when Sal just got into a car accident. Mr. DeGrotta wasn’t upset, he didn’t lose his cool. In fact he gave Sal the next set of car keys and asked him to go pick something up. Amazing dad!

Our most wonderful memories of Joe was his unyielding love and passion of his family. He was so proud of the character of Sal and Anthony and the joy their families brought to him and Isabelle. Joe loved his cousins and friends and his concern for us all was so evident.
Without Joe, my life has been altered, not for the better. In his absence, my family and I promise him we will forever be committed to Isabelle, Sal and Anthony.
May you Rest In Peace cousin and may God be with you. Love Frank, Linda, Peter and Lauren.

Dear Isabel, Sal, Anthony and Family,
It is with a heavy heart that my family and I send our deepest condolences on the passing of Jo Jo.
Joe and I grew up together as cousins. We had fun times as kids on Elizabeth Street playing in the hallways and courtyard of the building they lived in with all family. Those times were great. I know how close you all are and I know his passing is devasting for everyone. Joe will always remain in your hearts and those who knew and loved him.
With all our Love and Prayers,

Dearest Family,
There are no words great enough to even express Joe’s warm and loving commitment he had for his family.
The dash in between 1949-2021 has all the greatest tributes he had. Joe’s accomplishments in life made him greater than the ocean’s depths. So that dash in between means so much about his character and love. I will always have a place in my heart for my brother in law Joe. Stephanie

Dear Isabella, Salvatore and Anthony.
Over the relatively short time that Diane and I had come to know Joseph, his friendship and neighborliness were highly valued and appreciated. There are no adequate words that can express our sadness or fill the void that his passing creates in all of the lives that he touched.
