Obituary of Sue Costarelli

Sue Costarelli, beloved wife of the late Ernesto Costarelli of Queens, NY passed away peacefully on February 27, 2021 at 98 years old. She was born in Louisiana in 1922. Sue married Ernesto in 1945. Sue and “Ernie” met while both serving durning World War II, where Sue served in the Navy Waves. After their time in the service they raised their beautiful family in Queens, NY, while running their family business, Costarelli Funeral Liverly. 

Sue leaves behind her loving family; daughter Linda Morelli and the late son in law Philip Morelli, son Thomas Costarelli, daughter in law Andrea Costarelli, grandchildren, Philip and Michele Morelli, Thomas and Jennifer Morelli, Michael Costarelli and the late Daniel Costarelli, and three great granddaughters, Gianna, Gia and Adriana.

A graveside service will take place on March 8th 2021 at St. John’s Cemetery in Queens, NY, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Ernie.
