I knew Shelia as a little girl on East 46th Street in Brooklyn. She was a lovely woman. I spent many afternoons watching TV on her couch with my boyfriend Tommy. I was 6 years old. She was always so kind and sweet. I don't know what got me thinking about her but.i was saddened to learn of her passing. My best to her family. Cathy

So love Shiela and how she remained with us all these years smiling into the camera! Surely she was praying for each and every one of us! She was one of my moms best friends! We all rode to Washington DC every year and marched for the unborn! We were all on the very first March! My favorite memory is that of Shiela requesting my husband to sing Danny boy at my wedding and then running up and planting a big fat kiss on his face when he finished singing it! There’s a picture in the archives That I must find! Blessings to the family and gratefulness to God for giving this fine woman of God to us down here for all this time! Heaven must be rejoicing! I know my Mom is!❤️

Mrs. Gillespie was an amazing woman! She treated every child as if they were her own. xoxoxo This picture is of her 2 favorite guys leaving to go to Williamsport, PA to play Baseball. I'm sure she kissed them and patted them on the head before they left. I'm on the left, my brother on the right. Great memories!!
