I would like to express my heartfelt condolences and prayer to Ethan’s family and friends. This news came as a complete shock to me, as I still process and long for his external peace. Ethan was one the most bright high school students I have ever taught. With his ambition, he took math classes above his level, learned quickly, and was successful. One of my favorite memories of Ethan was seeing him play piano for me because he was very talented. I challenge everyone who reads this to stop for a moment, close their eyes, and imagine Ethan standing in front of you. I guarantee you’re picturing him smiling - this is a testament to his character and the impact he has had on so many people. It was a privilege to have been Ethan’s teacher and get to know him on a personal level, and in my heart he will always be a friend of mine. Ethan, may you rest in peace and know that your life meant so much to others and you accomplished such great things even in this short span of time. It's so very hard to put into works how deeply saddened we are about Ethan. Arthur, Brooke, Candace, Wayne and I were so very blessed to know Ethan. We watched him grow into the very fine, kind, beautiful and blessing of a young man he became.
i will always think fondly of our church times together as his Sunday School teacher, the fun we had at Vacation Bible School and the Youth group activities Ethan and our children participated in together, especially the camp at Word of Life.
Ethan had a heart for God, shared God's love to so many and he will be greatly missed among family, friends, church families and all. Our hearts break with Sharon, Ava, his Father and all siblings, grandparents and extended family for a life cut off too soon. God's Peace to you all and our sincere condolences.

Ethan was a giver who graced the world with beauty and light from the time he was a tiny baby. As he grew up, his curiosity, intelligence, gentle nature, kindness, insight and talent touched every one who knew him.
Always an observer with a sharp, analytical mind, he was impressive in the way he was able to distill complex problems into articulate, elegant solutions. Blessed with exceptional talents in music and writing, he captivated his audience and readers (me included) with beautifully crafted performances and articles. But beyond his many talents, Ethan's superpower was his heart. His generous, caring nature was evidenced in his ability to be there for others, listen with an open mind, provide levity, kindness, and encouragement. He fiercely loved his family and friends, and made others feel held, heard and cared for.
Those blessed enough to know him will greatly miss his light, and must carry on spreading his positive spirit and generous nature.
You are immensely missed, Ethan. We can't understand why you were taken away so young, but will never stop being inspired by who you were. We love you.

Ethan was really one of a kind. Such a gem. I used to think Ethan was a genius back in elementary school (east street) and that he will go soooo far in life. He had such a corny humor but it never failed to make me laugh after making me mad. I remember we were taking an ela or benchmark test in I think 4th or 5th grade and I kept tapping my pencil cuz I couldn’t focus.. he threw me a red an white mint puff candy and said to suck on it because his mom gave him a bunch saying they will help him focus. I honestly can’t believe your gone.. you were too kind to me. may god answer my prayers that are for you and your family. Your death has really triggered me in ways I can’t comprehend. Really do love u pal. The world seems soo weird knowing you for soo many years and your no longer here. I really pray god grants u comforts and puts your soul at ease.
