Obituary of Brian McGlynn

Brian McGlynn was born November 14th, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John McGlynn and Marie O’Keefe. He passed away on June 7th, 2021.
Brian is predeceased by his wife, Catherine, and his brother, Kevin. Brian is lovingly remembered by his five children, Caitlin, Connor, Kelly, Jackie, and John; his siblings, John (Jay), Maureen, Eileen, Denis, and Kathleen; his long-term partner, Maureen; and his nieces and nephews.
“Breezy”, as he was affectionately known, was an entertaining story teller who could have a whole room laughing with just a few words. He is remembered as a kind hearted man, who loved to be around his family and friends. Brian was an avid golfer and golf fan. He enjoyed reading and spending time at the beach. Brian’s love for music encompassed all genres—some favorites were Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, Southside Johnny, Otis Redding, and many more. He loved all live music and would watch old videos of live performances for hours.
Brian will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure to know him.
