Thanks to this heartfelt obituary, we finally we got certainty about Barry resting in peace.
Our entire family met Barry while living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Barry was our baby sitter. We were 2 and 5 years old by that time. Needless to say that he was our favourite baby sitter. He read many books to us.
Throughout the decades we kept in touch and he came to visit us in Switzerland several times.
Later, when we grew up, my brother Lukas and myself met up with Barry in New York.
These were very cherished memories.
Moreover we shared his love for cats and travelling. Many inspiring conversations resulted from that.
Each one of us will very much miss Barry.
However , we fondly keep him in our memories.
