Obituary of Toribio Castro, Jr.

It is with extreme sadness that my family announces the passing of our beloved husband and father, Toribio Castro, Jr. On Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, at the age of 87.

Toribio Jr. was born on July 6th, 1934, in Costello, Spain to Toribio Sr. and Maria. He studied mechanical engineering which served him well. On January 31st, 1959, he married Pilar Guitian, and they raised two sons, David and Michael.

Toribio had many passions. He loved to spend time with family and friends, he loved going to the beach, going hunting with his family and friends. He was also an avid music lover and dancing, which led to my family’s love of music. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 16th, 2021, at St. Mary’s Church, 110 Bryant Avenue, Roslyn Harbor, at 10 o’clock a.m
