Rae babysat our kids, Jaime and Greg, when I returned to work as an RN as a new Mom. Jaime was 3 months old and Rae was a young 60. If it was sunny and at least 40 degrees outside, I knew the kids were out at Manorhaven Park! She became the kids' NY Grandma since both sets of Grands lived in Florida.She worked for us until Jaime turned 10, when Ernie's health started to fail. She stayed in our lives after Ernie passed, attended the kid's Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and most recently, Jaime's engagement party.I loved running into her at Stop and Shop for updates. She will be sorely missed. RIP Rae. We love you. Barbara and Andy Ormont

Rae was the best surrogate grandmother a kid could ask for. I’ll always remember cracking walnuts in her house, playing cards, and finally growing taller than her! She was ever supportive and will be sorely missed. Forever grateful for the times we shared, I’ll always think of her when I see a walnut that needs cracking! -Greg Ormont
